Design Notes
Each pair is meticulously handcrafted in Italy, requiring over 105 hours of artisan handwork and incorporating 28 unique materials. The design is inspired by Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, with every detail capturing the richness and beauty of the artwork.
The degradé water effect is brought to life through 16 shades of green silk and two transparent crystal threads, evoking the movement of crashing waves. Delicate rose motifs emerge from five shades of pink and three shades of green silk, finished with bullion stitching for added depth and texture. Finally, two shades of gold metallic yarn form a radiant cap toe, echoing the luminous shell at the heart of the painting.
